I think that its incredible that your mind can produce such vivide images. Complex 3D rendering thats so detailed and realistic that even a supercomputer couldnt handle it. And our mind isnt even trying. At least in my case my dreams look so real that I cant even tell that I am dreaming.
I get that a lot 
Thats the minimum. Its usually around 25 fps. So thats fairly smooth.
Surprisingly my game runs pretty smooth for such a low end card 
Mine came from an herbal supplement called Horny Goat Weed. Some kind of aphrodisiac. Dont know if they sell it anymore. So I just took that and shortened it to HrnyGoat.
My Radeon 9000 will get about 15-30 fps on HL2 with the screen res at 1280x800 on medium detail and full shaders. Not the best FPS but it is a good balance between the quality of the graphics and the framerate. Just looks too ugly on low.

it not just the wheel part of it. its the whole landing gear assembly which has things like hydraulic pumps, motors, gears, and it takes a lot of metal to anchor that to the body of the plane. so the wheels are "just the tip of the iceberg"
