In short: less emphasis on brushes/brushwork, more emphasis on model props and displacements.
Lighting is also much, much more complex.
Triggers work the same way--fundamentally--except in Source any entity can be a trigger.
edit - oh and I used to think Muzzle flash was a female cos they had a female on his/her avatar!I'm pretty sure that was just you.
I also remember the "Proudly Liberal" avatar thing that happened once tooVassy. Proudly British.
The anime-style voice acting would piss me right the f**k off.I was totally thinking, "What does anime-style voice acting even sound like?" It was soooooooooooooo clear when the soldiers started talking.
I would have an aneurysm if that happened to me.
where as in HoN and DotA if a hero is picked the other team can't get it. Drafting teams is a real art and is one of if not the most important part of the competitive scene. There's two modes in LoL. Blind pick let's you pick anyone who hasn't already been picked by your team, but you can't see who the enemy team is picking. LoL also has draft pick, though, and ranked games are draft pick only.
I have heard LoL is a fair bit more casual than HoN, no creep denying right?Absolutely not. I'm not sure if the terminology is the same, but in LoL that's called "zoning".
You need to do something about that hole in the cliff. It looks neither natural nor artificial.
Just watched Layer Cake.Layer Cake is a great film!
First time I watched it I was high as balls. Now I watched it drunk. It was very difficult to follow either time, but I got it now.
Very Guy Richie-esque. A fantastic Daniel Craig film.
I feel cannabis makes me more intuitive interpreting films, but maybe notNot to fuel anything too off topic, but in my experience it's always made me prone to misinterpretation through overanalyzing insignificant details.
