The 80s - 90s time period of black mesa , from what ive always figured out was the time in which it all occurred in, is in my eyes the best possible time for such a huge facility to exist, I mean, even if you think about it the automated system that reports of everything, how big was the infrastructure and the installations for that? Not to mention the need for custom hardware, programming, testing... Everything had to be huge to perform complex precise tasks hence I am the most interested into the operational correctness of it all. Maybe a mass spectrometer of today would fit into a smaller cabinet

A model of 1000poly is nothing to the gold source engine, we had multiple 10k+ (up to 30 at a time) models in my 2010 CS server with out it crashing the server. If you manage to make a 3D skybox or ingame terrain and clip it properly (With a fence infront or something) you wont loose any performance. Go to russian map hosting websites and take a loot at some of their top rated maps there is even one with a whole industrial structure as a background model.

Why not try to make an structural and operationally correct black mesa laboratory section? With thought on foundation, structural support, installations, ventilation, drainage, climate/atmosphere equipment, special structural enhancements for special equipment, emergency devices/passes/etc, placement of things... Would be nice to see.

The folder he is trying to delete has permissions held by system or has contained within system files. To delete such folders that came with high permission he has to remove them or negate the validity of those permissions. One such way is to boot an temporary operating system like linux or Windows PE (There are many Windows PE XP, 7, 8 and 10 editions he can use freely downloadable if you search well enough). One such rescue disk is an Hirens boot CD or DVD.

Any free antivirus is not better than Windows defender, and this is a fact based on two years of active checks in real world conditions. In 3 years of servicing countless problems in both business clients and regular clients were due to misbehaving Avast antivirus and none due to Microsoft Defender antivirus.

Great tutorials. I looked at all of them. The texture animation sequence when triggered was something I wanted to know how to do. I was not interested into models until I saw a complete flowchart and some examples, now I might get into the whole business with making props that way.

What I wrote of seems delusional and impossible because when thinking of illness people almost always think of terminal illness. The point is preventing terminal illness from ever occurring. Letting the body finish off the possible triggers while they are meaningless will equal a much stronger immune system overall.

I will not accept the possibility of stopping my bodies own perfect processes in order to bet all on a medical plant. With that set in mind I am completely against setting hopes into nothing else but medical plants or medical substances only. A medical plant or medical substance ("cure") will only affect a portion of the problem and aid in its resolve.
We already know from various medical analysis that the human body is actively fighting a very large number of problems each and every day. Even so it being perfectly organized it is still subdued by the persons own will. The body, like every controlled system, must obey its operator. If the operator, person/you/your soul/how ever you want it, wants to ignore bodies analysis and request for certain materials and terminate certain processes due to states of stress or on purpose, due to death wish?, the body will have problems finding alternative pathways and means to overcome the exact same problem it could have solved up until that moment more easily.
If we tell our body not to do it in one way, it will find another way, it will never give up. The analytic process of the brain is never ending. As a perfect system it is it will always search for means to please both its operator will and its natural hardcoded function to regenerate it self.
There is only so much energy in our bodies, like every physical system it requires an energy and material resource in order to maintain.
The more you obstruct it the more time, resources and energy it requires.
