Over the summer, apart from working on HL: Donuts, I plan to write a Steam setup tutorial, a LEAK tutorial (that's a 'maybe') and do some more Example Maps.

Hey! I hardly think I count as a dim-witted gamer. Some of the things certain bits of MS do I have problems with. Their more popular programs are slackly written and as for Longhorn... but some of it's okay. I'm not anti-Microsoft, just anti-someoftheirsoftware. I like MSFS.

Yeah. If there is a valvecs.wad, ignore it. You should use cstrikecstrike.wad (and some other WADs in cstrike if you so desire).

Try running VIS with the argument -full. You'll need to either batch-compile, use a compile GUI (recommended) [here], or use Hammer's compile frontend on "Expert".

Put a wall textured with a rock texture or something in between.
CS's physics allow you to shoot through some walls. Try double-layered walls, I think that works.

I coulda deleted it but now there are references to it and links in a loada threads, so I'd have to hunt through and edit and kill all those posts. Just ignore them in future and they'll be quickly removed.
