Chapter 3 - Voices
Y'ato slowly drifted from his sleep, slowly waking up. As he was doing so his mind was replaying all that had happened to him, and tried to assemble the pieces of puzzle that unlocked his history, that unlocked his story. He gave a curious look around the room, it was the same room with a crude table that was on the verge of collapsing which was holding some stout robes on the verge of collapsing. He noticed a small window, dusty light shown through the crooked window pane. He took small steps toward it, each one emitting a creaking noise, as he finally reached the window he peered through it. He was actually on a small cliff overlooking a connifer forest. He could make out some features like a river, and what even looked like a waterfall far off in the mist. As Y'ato gazed upon the area two sharp knocks emitted from the door, and a mumbling voice which he couldnt quite make out ''Hello..........wake yet?.....Talk to you'' He immediately reached for the robes on the table and hastily dressed as the knocking continued, getting more and more urgent. Y'ato finally grabbed the door handle and swung the door open hastily to find the healer which he nearly strangled give him a nervous smile. He finally said, in a nervous voice to match his smile ''Wosaki would like to meet you further down, follow me'' And he stumbled off round a corner. Y'ato quickly followed him, the floorboards creaking in their wake. The corner lead to a small door, Almost broken off its hinges. The healer bashed the door opened, Y'ato following in his wake, as he left the cabin a wave of fresh air greeted him. He sinhaled as much as possible and walked on with the healer, who was now approaching some stairs which waere built into the cliff face in which the cabin was sat upon. The healer said in a more calmer tone ''Watch your step, were almost there'' And hastily swept down the stairs, Y'ato followed him, a little more cautious of the danger. He could not help but look around as he travelled down the stairs. He could still not see the waterfall too well, but the forest and river were much more distinct. Finally, after what seemed an hour they reached a small aclove in the clif nearly half way down. The healer stop and turned to Y'ato, then gestured him into the aclove which was infact a rather large cave. He started wondering down the cave, a deep aqua glow seemed to emit from it. There were more stairs which led further into the winding cave. Y'ato, to his surprise, very quickly reached the end in which expanded into a huge cavern, Tons of laterns hung from stalictites, reflecting upon a large lake of water which took up the center of the cavern, which gave a warm aqua glow. Around the water were what lookied like hundreds of make shift pavillions set into the cave wall. What looked like hundreds of people were either moving or mingling with each other. Some of them were armed. Y'ato felt a slight push and saw the healer heading off round the left side of the lake. He tried to follow him round the lakeside, pushing through the crowd. The healer then stopped without warning and took off into one of the pavillions, Y'ato following him. The interior of the pavillion was covered in red drapes, apart from that there wasnt much else. The healer was standing with his back to Y'ato, talking to a person he immediately recognised. Wosaki. He smiled as Wosaki turned his attention towards him, who was also smiling. Then said in a tired voice ''Okay, you can leave now, i wish to talk to Y'ato alone'' which was followed by the healers exit. Wosaki looked straight at Y'ato and said in a cleary voice ''So....why are you acting like this? Is there something wrong'' for a moment Y'atoe was reminded of the dark fear which filled him when he realised the truth, when he heard that voice...he then replied in a quite voice several minutes later ''I hear...voices...Voices telling me...of how...of my...past'' He then began of an explanation of his voices. And what he had heard from them, Wosaki took particular interest when the voice told Y'ato that he would know what to do. After Y'ato had finished explaining his troubles to Wosaki. He lunged for the pavillion exit and left out of sight...
