I used to rip at high bitrate for MP3, but OGG sounds good enough at low bitrate, unlike MP3, which sounds like a cow being put through a giant kiling device amplified through a crappy solid state amplifier with a broken speaker and low quality effects. And flac is just pointless. Long ripping times and space wasting files.
For some reason I think you are full of BS. You say you have 4gb of RAM, then when I say how stupid your decision to get that bloated amount of RAM is, you say that you "need" it, then you call me an idiot for pointing out your own stupidity. Rendering does require lots of RAM, but someone of your intelligence could never construct anything that requires more than 128mb of memory.

And Pentium 4 3.2's usually suck (if you are talkin about the Northwood series). 3.0's are much better overclocking-wise. If you are talking about the Prescott series then it's a good overclocker but a generally crap chip.
Pff, ZHLT 3.2 sucks. The ol 1.7 Custom Builds are far better.

The next offering from ATi is AGP and PCI-Express, and that obliterates the GeForce 6800. 512mb of buffering GDDR RAM, 24x pipelines (last time I heard). The AGP version, from the test results I have seen, is no less powerful than it's PCI-Express brother. Take that, noobsticks.

2gb is pointless unless you are building a server or a rendering box. PCI Express is very pointless at this time as no cards have saturated the potential of AGP v3.0/8x as of now. The only reason I can think of to use PCI Express is for SLi rigs with dual nVidia cards. Otherwise, it's a complete waste.

Doom 3 itself was a ripoff and just a Doom 1 remake, but the lighting was beautiful. Far Cry was very nice, that water is a graphical orgasm! And source, well, source is ok, nice modelling, nice texes, nice overall.
