..IE... uh oh... lol, to each your own, lol.. I have another problem though.. HLMV won't load.
I get this error:
The configuration information for the game your trying to edit is invalid or missing.
Has anyone else got this error?

The missing dlls problem is fixed, but I'm still missing the config files for the Model viewer. However I don't know the files name/s.

I found this related forum post, but where the hell is the main menu?

I found the problem.. I needed to run HL2 first to configure the settings.

haha, thank-you.. nope I'm not pirating them.. lol.. I bought HL2 but then I got a trojan, so we had to get our computer swiped... I lost everything..

Seventh, Like I told you in IRC, I just need the files. The two dlls are supposed to be in the bin folder, however I don't have them.

Hello, I need two files that I'm missing:
-vstdlib.dll
-tier0.dll
They can be found in the SourceSDK...
...SteamApps/SourceSDK/Bin

I asked others in IRC, but was turned down with sarcasm.

All I need is the two files zipped, and uploaded.

:D There fixed for good now, we edited the hand texture to look more like a glove. lol.. Bare hands would'nt suit the model, you'll see why once you get ahold of the model.

I'm not compiling the winnt.h file, thats why this problem is so messed up. The file is'nt included in the workspace or anything.
All I did was try to import Movies into the game, from "AVIKit". When I tried compiling it, I soon got that error. Theres no way I'm going to use Dev. I'll try the VC++ '05

I've googled this error, and others have had it too.

Does anyone have a non-corrupt 'winnt.h' file they could send me.. I'll try replacing it.

Hahaa, yes, gloves are being done now

Still needs a bit of tweaking, and needs to be coded into the game, which I'll start as soon as I get MSVC++6.0 u and running again.

meh it all depends on the texture scale Salty, I'd probably use the textures definetly Rim. It's a great idea. I always downscale my textures anyway.

Well, I have a slight problem, well, ok, it's A HUGE PROBLEM!!! :aghast:

My MSVC++ was working fine until I tried compiling some code in which I tried to import ingame videos.. after I got an error, I could'nt fix.. not only could'nt fix but it wont compile anything else. Even when I load the backup. I searched for help and I was told to reinstall, however, that doesn't even work because I had previously installed the software.

So, Does anyone have MSVC++ 6.0 they could send me, I know ZombieLoffe host all his programs, but not sure where, or even if he has it...

Please guys.. My mod still needs so much more code added, including models.

The eyes will probably be chromed, or just more blended with the skin. on the outer edges.. But as of now, The body is being made.

We've decided to delete whats inside the white circles, and the red lines is ideas of adding stuff.

it seens like almost every screen seems dark...
Yes, I realize this, right now I'm working on a CIA building which isn't dark, and there will be other locations, such as Iraq.

Also, I have met a very good modeller, named Kruk, whom is helping with the alien enemy grunts. Take a look:

I use to have the old Jed's HLMV and it allowed me to make textures addictive, or chrome. Until I got there newly released viewer, and now, all I can do ins the chrome effect, so, I don't know how to make parts of the models transparent. And it really sucks. I have a bunch of models with certain parts transparent, but can't use them because of it.

The grunts lens however, I edited the texture, and made it chrome, which still looks good, but still. :

They have changed. I have enemy, and friendly grunts. but they where both black ops. So I changed the enemys to prevent confusion or friendly fire. lol.

I need help with this photo.
Can somebody turn it into a sprite for me. My sprite wizard is giving me a problem with the 256 colors thing. I just don't get it. The photo only contains 5 colors.

types of sound files could be anything like
.wav
.mp3
.wma

so, that said, do this:
Right click on the song, and click properties, then you'll see it saying the type of file, tell us what it says.
