I give Canada no more than 30 years before the USA annexes them...it will happen one day I swear!!!
Actually, it will happen in 2076, when America is defending its Alaskan oil pipe from the invading Chinese commies!
Who knows, maybe in 30 years America annexes the world
Yeah, and my shit will fly.

No offence, but I wouldn't consent to food poisoning, lol
You wouldn't consent to getting some serious side-effects from a vaccine either. Perhaps I worded it incorrectly. What I mean to say is that theres a greater risk of death or disability from things you do in the house to taking a vaccine.
The stupid thing about the vaccine, I believe, is that you are likely to get flu like symptoms from taking the vaccine, as well as the other possible risks.
Erm...Of course? Thats the whole point of them. To induce a weaker version of the illness in you that your body can safely combat, so giving your immunity system knowledge on that particular pathogen.
Nobody is at a higher risk of dying of Swine Flu than they are of dying of regular flu.
I'm starting to think you don't know what actually is used to make a vaccine. Vaccines are made by taking some of the pathogen in question in a dead or weakened form, and injecting them into your body. The pathogen itself it so limited in numbers and weak its destroyed easily, but your immunity system gains knowledge of the invader so it can repel them with ease next time. The chances of you dieing from the vaccine are far less then that of dieing from the real thing.

You know what they say, you gotta break a few Eggs to make an Omelet.

Or just pumped poison into the water supply. Heck, there are plenty of ways you can cover that up.

The government isn't out to kill you at every step. People throw this "They're trying to reduce the world population!" theory with every new disease that comes out. I remember when SARS appeared, people were screaming the same thing.

Yeah, they make mistakes. So does medical science. Nothing is perfect, and if you expect perfection, you need a reality check.
You have to remember we are talking about a drug that you give consent to taking, not a motor vehicle accident that we have little or no control over.
Point taken. But what about all the other things you do yourself, or consent to? There's far greater risks involved in your own home then with a vaccine. Food poisoning is a good one.

I do not see any reason what-so-ever to possibly risk being disabled for life over just being sick for a few weeks.
You must be absolutely terrified of cars then. If a 1 in a million chance scares you, life must be horrific for you.

Besides, the vaccine isn't aimed at healthy people. Those who are vulnerable, like the young and old, are getting it. After that, anyone who wants it can get one. I don't plan on getting the vaccine either. I fell ill with the swine flu whilst I was visiting my relatives in Britain during the summer, so I reckon I should be good.

I always enjoy how people prefer to take the opinions of the uninformed and uneducated to those who actually know about the field. But hey, each man to his own I guess...

Once could assume he does, but it's just an assumption. There's no indicators or reactions from characters to bring it from beyond mere 'assuming' to actually knowing he does.

That's not to say I dislike him, I just think that Link is a little bit better.

Your lucky. I recently moved into a new apartment, and after a few nights, noticed tons of red spots appearing on my feet and lower legs. Turns out every carpet in the place is infested with fleas. Despite all of our measures to eradicate them, they haven't gone away, and we're still getting bites. Right now, we're having to replace the carpets to make sure those fuckers are gone for good.

Meaning call for reinforcements, Then storm the base yourself. Not call for reinforcements and let them storm it for you. You'd go into it before the reinforcements arive, and die at the first decision.
If you wanted to storm the base yourself, why call for reinforcements? As a metrocop, I would assume that he might have had at least a little training concerning what to do if outnumbered. Its pretty obvious he intends to go in with backup.
