Outer shell is finisdh, as you can see i gave the windows thickness by extruding the edge inside, then i extruded it down to show the wall of the car for a start. Then i move on to the dashboard, wich only will be finishd when i convert the mirror to a editble mesh.

The null texture will get you very far on the optimizing side.

There mainly going for gameplay and a historical acuracy, obviously that doesnt go to well together. Still there aiming for quality, rather important for me to see in a mod.

No, it is because they decided to concentrate on the western front(verdun). They already spend heaps of time brining out version 1.1 with a couple of new weapons.

And calling people lame because they offer there free time to create a high quality mod is somehow.... childish.

Yup, i crop the bleurprint up, then i put it on a plane with the corresponding width and height.

Then i outline the shapes extruding from a single plane. Though car modeling is considered one of the hardest things to do, in the beginning it was hard, now it is rather easy, especialy if you know the car.

Been working on this since yesterday, after founding a couple o bugged bleurprints i decided to go with these.

THe modeling is going fairly fast since i know the shapes of this car very well, au contrait to the laguna, wich isnt finishd yet for those wondering.

Roughly 5 hours of modeling, probably less. And a note about the headlights, its not done yet, those will be adjusted. And offcourse a grill will be modeled in.

in Help!!!!! Prefab error Post #141924
Calm down, it is actualy very simple.

You are missing a texture, probably on a prefab. You should check if you have all of the required wads loaded that came with the prefab, there might be a hint about it in a text file if it came with the prefab.

I do model a lot, though i lack time to do anything more atm. And im still brushing up my skinning skills. The best thinkg you could do is to learn to model yourselve with milkshape, there wbesite is loaded with excellent tutorials if you can understand them.

Its not that bad seth, you should have seen my old desktop, just a keyboard and one joystick and it was full.

@7th, it isnt even the normal regular full load, though the yoke gest removed now and then and is moved to a temporary stationary position behind the radio. But the sidewinder is in front of me most of the time acompanyed by a cup of coffee, either empty or full. All depends on the time.

Daubster, if you can draw 3 images of the concept lad, a front and side view and one perspective, shading isnt required, Neither small details. Its about the rough outline and important parts. Mainly helmet and such details.

I recommend the line method to line em up properly(the side and front ones).

I'd say the set roughly costs around 2000 euro's.

And a semi-acoustic steel string yamaha. Its a one of my favorites, its from the dreadnought class and got the neck from a electric git.

Start a mp game, and then try the sv_lan 1 command, then it should be visible on your lan.

Otherwise download the dedicated server from your steam list and use that on your computer with lan enabled, you can join it from your own computer by typing in your IP under favorites. Thats how i always run my server for internet.

I havent been doing nothing lately, mostly done some modwork, but in the past months i created this map for The Trenches. Its rather high poly set in a river based theme. Including a cave and bridge. All terrain has been done with vertex manipulation.

As mentioned before, this has been created for a mod called The Trenches, situated in The first world war, also called the big war.

Here are some screenshots, if you want to get a better feel of the looks i recommend downloading it, the mod is a excellent mod, though its still rather bland. But the team is working hard on the next version.

You need to export it to a .smd file, still havent figured this out myself.

Nothing pop-ups with milkshape, just read it in the manual, wait for 2 minutes and then restart.
