It's bound to have some of them. They're probably saving all the crap they left out of the beta for the expansion and additional add-ons.

Actually unless you're skyboxing the backfaces and faces not within a map area get culled by BSP automatically, making it essentially useless to spend the time NODRAWing things.

The thing about models, too, is that unless they're really complex (and I mean really complex) then they don't put too much strain on the system. I can have loads of props in the area and unless we're trying to phys simulate them all they're not going to tax my crappy video card.

Dynamic lighting on the other hand ;x

It's just that I see pictures of Halflife 1 using the new hammer, at least, I think it is. I think this because the 3D view shows the models, so you can see gordon and headcrabs exc.
That's 3.5b.

OmG O_o

Well, I saw one player making a G-Man that followed me everywhere with ENT MOD tongue - :P
I think it is possible with map editor if it is possible with ent mod

I could make it with zombie...But I want in invulnerable and when you hit the creature there comes only few sparks...just like with the real G-Man...and there shouldn't come neither any zombish snarls nor alien blood!
How to do?
EntMod has different code.

I made the vtf using vmex.exe from the .tga and filled the .txt with the bump map details (I got that part from the tutorial)
That's VTEX instead, right? VMEX is the map decompiler.

You need to rename your .txt to .vmt.

Everything is stored in GCF Files, the equivalent of PAK's from WON HL1. You can extract files from these GCFs with GCFScape.

I'm slightly confused as to the rest of your question - The new Hammer is not for use with HL1, only Source-based games. (And since this is in the HL1 forum...) For pre-source games, you should be using Hammer 3.4/5b.

On topic, though, I like your page, Urbanebula. Easy on the eyes, and a pretty simple and slick design. One thing, though, is that the frame moves between the home page and all the others a bit, keep clicking between them and you'll see what I mean.
