make sure there are ents in every hull (shoebox like the tut calls it) and if you made the rooms of blocks, make sure the are hollow and make sure the entities arent all inside a brush (unless its an invisible entity brush)

without the confusion, make the last colour in the pallette blue. 255 on blue and 0 on everything else. then add { to the start of the name. the blue will be tansparent of u give it the right settings on hammer.

also u might want a flash or something to indicate the teleport rather than just having it appear and disappear. spirit has an entity that creates the lightning from teleporting when triggered, but for hl you will need a very complex setup of env_lasers.

it messes up the sci models on counter-life. to get the hostages players need the .mdl, im not sure if thers anoythign else. to make models get milkshape3d. course its a 30 day trial. then u must BUY BUY BUY!

it has to be coded. have you tried weapons with the camera following? they fire all over the place. if this mod is gonna work it better hav some darned good coders at hand. also modellers will help a bunch.

carving is howwibuwy scwewy. hollowing isnt to great either as the brush could be hollowed off grid and when you have a hollow room that usually means your going to carve a corridor out of it. make every brush individually and stick to the grid. never take snap to grid off, only use [ and ] to change its size.

never take snap to grid off is my solution. then just always make sure the brushes join up. if u need to make a smaller object use the [ and ] keys to change the grid size. should turn out with no leaks. none. diddlysquat. not a sausage.
