The name of the mod, echo 12 doesn really make sence, since the names are defined:

alpha
bravo
charlie
delta
echo
foxtrot
gulf
hotel
india
juliet
kilo
lima
mike
november ..
etc.

so echo 12 doesnt make sence.

Maby- S.W.A.T : unit echo.

This way you could create serval chapters of different units. Just tossing in a idea.

Update, inserted half of the magazine and worked on the sight holder and magazine slider.

Hope you like it, not so happy about it yet, still experimenting a bit with the proper widths.

Wish i had a real one here, would help so much. That is why im jealous at the modelers at EA, they get one of those guns they need to model! just look at the bf2 credits, you can see the modelers having one of those weapons...

Yeah, and this is the way to get it smooth, just select multiple faces, offcourse you got to extrude local. Its really no big deal, since you also can scale faces on a single axis.

You select them all, then you can select under extrude group or local, try local and then scale it in on one axis. should not even be a minute work :glad: .

@rowlybob : odd, theyt work fine for me, though i got the G-max documents in my models folder.

No, your right, that is because there is no texture on it. But any game will apply meshsmooth to your mesh, so it gives you a idea how it will look in-game without texture.

After i deleted some of your outer polygons on the buttstock i found polygons inside it. This creates the error since its getting smoothed over these polygons.

solution:

delete the extrusion, re-create the side faces and re-extrude it, that should solve it.

Isnt that a military weapon?

And isnt it british? As far as i know this is situated in North America.
And i recall seeing british troops also using the mp5 sub-machine gun.

Something to point out about the p90:

Indeed, that is a socom mark 23. also know as the mk-23. One of the weapons featured in The Specialists, and by coincidence one of my favorite.

Yeah, gordon uses a USP Match, the black thing on front is there to destroy recoil.

Skinning is a tad bit different then texturing, when with texturing you create a multiple of 2 tile with skinning you work on a mess. Or a 3d model, im simple words.

You first create a uv map, see it as splatting a bug on paper, you see all of his sides on the texture, you save it as a model and the coordinates are saved, then you only need to paint the skin.

But il do it myself, i know a few peeps whom are good in skinning so that isnt a problem.

The socom mk-23 is a personal defense weapon, extremely expensive and extremely reliable, it can withstand most wheather effects and operate without trouble in them.

And its not used by the swat.

Desert eagle is the worst choice possible, hell its a horrbile weapon for a SWAT team.

1. it is one of the biggest hand weapons availible today, it has a hugh recoil deu to the gas-powered blow back system, also the only weapon in the world. And offcourse, you would need 2 hands to be able to fire it quikly, otherwise there would be a chance of ripping of your hand. This gun is overated, mainly deu to hollywood whom used it more then once in movies. and offcourse videogames, counterstrike would be a fine example of this, but also think of Far-Cry and many others.

in the modifier list drop in a meshsmooth, now it will apply the standard smoothing games have(hl1,hl2 farcry, doom3 etc.). Do this with every object to view the smoothing.

Madcow, make the side weapons work together with the main weapon, many handguns are developed as a sidearm for a certain weapon, that is why some of them use the 5.56 NATO rounds. The five seven is the sidearm of the p90, though im not sure.

There mainly the same to share the ammo.

In Gmax:

File - File properties - click on content box, a face is the same as a polygon. To be able to view this information you got to atleast have saved your file ones, otherwise it cant read the information from the file :glad:.

@38_98 : sure, bit of change in the rules, supply me a file that you can open in G-max, Milkshape, or blender. This should become considereble more filetypes since blender and milkshape have a collection of importers.

Its only the base that is done, that will be the buttstock that will rest in the shoulder, shame i dont have the real thing here, that always helps a lot by fiddiling it out!.

Infact, it will be a bit longer!
