Seventh: I'm still kind of new to mapping and I dont know what that means, lol, sorry.
Read the visgroups tutorial.

Best way to back up stuff is to, uh, copy the files to somewhere else every now and then (hour, two hours, depending on how much you care).

Use RMF files! You can't utilise visgroups otherwise.

I wouldn't bet on a particular rotational speed for a fan. Mine vary from a few hundred to a few thousand. Check what your CPU fan is rated for, and what level of fan it is. Photo?

It was a stupid idea, the only one Valve found to make people buy HL2...
I normally agree with the things you say, but I've got to be contrary here. I think CS's gameplay is quite fun, but the graphics detract from the game once you've played more modern games. CS:S looks pretty, and plays exactly the same. The only thing missing is the different player models, which they're finally sorting out (how long does it take to re-skin and flesh out six player models?).

I read all the forum posts, of course, and I don't think that much has changed, although some of the character has faded from the forums and accumulated on IRC. Still missing people like Jahzel, though.

I remember when he first registered.

jobabob too.

ZL: Tlax is still about pretty regularly. 6th seems to have made a comeback, too, seen him a few times recently.

It's hard to leave TWHL, I guess :). Well, jobabob is the exception there. Plus atom himself, heh...

What? How can you seriously care who assembled a load of parts designed by Korean and Japanese electronic engineers and manufactured by underpaid Chinese and Malaysian factory workers months before? Alienware don't make PCs, they make cases, if that.

If you want to argue about computers, talk about AMD and Intel, or ATI and nVidia, not Dell and Alienware :|.
