The concepts look good, although you should colour them. The rest of the screens are pretty crappy, they're tiny and don't show much at all. Also, the BME main site seems to be non-existant.

College teachers make $9 an hour? Wow, that's weak.
My sister made around $11-12 (more or less) selling shit on the phone to people, without any degree in anything, not even having finished school. But then again, the US = cheapz0rer.

Edit: Oh, and yeah, religion sucks.

The only release date they've specified so far, AFAIK, is "Fourth quarter of 2006". Can't wait!

Face it, the PS3 will flop. It offers nothing new, nothing breaking new grounds, it's just the PS2 with better HW and a motion-sensored controller. Why would you even consider buying it?
When the PS3 is released, X360 will already have dropped in price, and Wii will (hopefull) have been released, sweeping the floor with both consoles (yay!) - honestly, console gaming isn't about the hardware, it's about the feel.

I've still a grudge against Sony for their infested CD releases and obvious leeching off of other companies, not to mention with Ericsson.

$500 or 600 is way too much for a console. The average-joe peep wouldn't afford it without rich parents :P . The revolution, I think, will be released at around 200?, which is a very fair price. I will totally buy it.

Yeah, are we not allowed to voice what we think of a subject unless it has personally affected us? I, clearly, am not a woman, have never had children, much less an abortion - yet, I think it's wrong. I'm not actively working against the banning of it or anything, it's just the stance that I've chosen to take because of stuff that I've read or heard about.
Sure, what we say might be bullshit speculation or unimportant ranting, but we can still discuss the matter.

Adoption is naturally preferable before abortion - the problem is, if there isn't anyone to adopt them, they get stuffed in a childcare centre, giving them (most often) a quite crappy childhood.

Yeah, but until we've established that, abortion is handier. Anyway, if the mother doesn't want the baby itself, what kind of life will it have?

It really is different from case to case. We have absolutely no clue how the child would turn out had it been born, so speculating in such is quite pointless.

I'm totally pro-abortion, though. It's pretty shitty to force a woman to have a child when we have the ability to prevent it.
If it's murder when you kill a cell, with the potential to become a baby, isn't it then murder to use a condom, since if you hadn't, there was the potential of life?

I generally dislike Flash sites because
a) They're usually unfunctional
b) You can't 'take out' individual elements (text, images, etc)
c) They sometimes have annoying sound and/or (worse) music.
d) They're unfunctional.

HTML and CSS for the win :) .

That's a pretty senseless analogy. What about the rights of the un-wanting mother? Doesn't she have the right to choose? Isn't it better to remove the foetus when it's still a foetus, instead of when it's a born baby?

Sperm has the potential to grow to beocme humans. So people who masturbate are murderers?
A foetus (foeti, proper plural) does not have the same rights as a grown human.

What the fuck? How can you not know about the Chernobyl disaster?
People (in Sweden, aswell :P ) are still getting cancer from the incident, that occurred more than 20 years ago. It wasn't in Russia, t'was in Ukraine (Still the soviet union, but meh). What happened was a reactor suffered a steam explosion, resulting in a nuclear meltdown.
The meltdown produced a radioactive cloud which flew over Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, but also the European part of Turkey, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Lithuania, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Ireland, France and the United Kingdom

Nuclear power isn't without it's hazards.

I never said it was bad or not needed, or that you should ignore it. I said everyone has their own beliefs, and they're just as correct as any other philosopher's.

If our society today is based on said philosophies, then hasn't everyone been influenced, one way or the other, by them? Reading a book about how life is when you're already there seems quite futile. Yes, it may expand your view to the beliefs of others, but so can actually talking to people or listen to today's politics.
You can't learn everything from reading a book, nor are there things you can only learn from reading a book.

Also, what makes one belief more weak and empty than the other? I mean, it's ludicrous to believe that someone isn't as morally sound or intelligent just because they decide to go by their own beliefs than those of a 2000 year old librarian.

What? Philosophies are just ways of thinking - one could follow Calvin & Hobbes as a personal spiritual guide if he wants to. One book being more famous or deep than the other doesn't make it more valid. You could make as good of a point in a fictional story as any fact schoolbook you can find. Allegories such as Animal Farm are quite thoughtprovoking and critical, yet fictional.

I've never read a single book about philosophy in my entire life, yet I have a quite firm set of beliefs concerning both society and life itself. Am I... wrong?

So people who've gone to jail for minor crimes should never have a chance to re-establish themselves into society? I mean, if you go to prison with virtually nothing to begin with, without the chance to get enough to live by when you get out, you will surely resort to more criminality.

And as for this "all weak people should die"-attitude that you're clearly supporting, it's pretty fascistic if you ask me. We'd have to scrap the idea that every person is worth an equal amount.

About Walmart, and any huge, multinational corporation really, I just don't trust them at that size, because there're so many things influencing the decisions they make - and they're influencing a lot of people. Not only the profit of the original store-owner, but thousands of shareholders who all want their say. And when it starts moving into politics, potentially harming small-time businesses and the environment, it's going too far.

And Orpheus, jeez, change the white to black in your avatar ;) . By the way, I'm assuming PFL = PrefabLand?
