I think it's wrong to condemn religion itself like people've done here. Religion has done lots of great stuff, be it lesser than the bad stuff, arguably. Even though I don't believe in religion and think it's primarily a tool for controlling 'believers', you should respect religious people. It's the faith they were brought up with and practic(s?)e.
Again, people can believe in whatever they want, be it flying spaghetti monsters or big men in the sky, it's fine by me - as long as they don't try to impose their beliefs on other, unwilling people.

But really, the need for religions can be discussed. Today we have science to tell us about many of the mysteries that affected the people who "invented" religions, even though some of them remain unanswered. To me it just seems like the fear of dying. Nevertheless, people who practice it should be respected like anyone.

leetspeak and poor grammar/spellingg gets my on nirves
Craked me up.

Anyway, what's the issue? Why the US is in the middle east? It's evident that a major factor when deciding (ruling against the UN, mind you : ) was the huge oil supplies over there, selling contracts to huge companies (Halliburton anyone?), but even if it was for the ideals the US claimed it to be, are the Iraqis happier now? Will they be in the future? Getting a country like that stable and on its own feet again will take decades, and the newly formed government will unlikely be accepted by its fellow neighbours. If the US pulled out now, disasters would follow, probably extremist groups quickly racing for power. I'm not too sure what I think the US should or shouldn't do now, really.

As for Saddam being in possesion of or building WMDs, was there ever a concrete threat made against the US? 9/11 ocurred, in no way linked to Iraq except for possibly harbouring terrorists, what threats did Iraq make against the US? It's quite evident that governments in countries like North Korea pretty much hate everything westernized and, I'd say, are a much bigger threat to "world peace" than the Middle east ever was.

These are just my opinions, they're probably wrong.

I thought the definition of an airsoft gun was that it's powered by air - carbon dioxide guns are something else, aren't they? I've shot both, I mean, but atleast we don't have the same name for them.

That's not at all the same thing.
First of all - airguns are a lot less lethal and hardly ever kill anyone.

I'm not saying "ban everyone from owning guns", and that isn't the case in most sane countries - I'm saying make it harder to get guns, and restrict to them in any un-supervised areas. The only time you should be allowed to hold a gun should be on a gun-practice range or with a proper hunting license (that only covers certain rifles).

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

If everyone would live by the bible we'd still have slaves and be racists.
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

Here's a quick way of 90-degree corners in hammer. It's really not very advanced, but quite useful for, uh, cutting stuff.
User posted image
Here we have a corner. The walls're overlapping eachother, and we want to cut all of the pieces with a 45c angle across so they line up. This is quite useful for aligning and I think it's recommended to do so because of something. Uh... it's good. Anyway...

1. Select both walls and all of their brushes.

2. Use the clipping tool (shift+x, very useful) to cut through them in a 45 degree angle.
User posted image
3. Press enter. Don't deselect any of the brushes just yet.

4. Ctrl+click (Deselect) the brushes you want to keep, leaving the deletable brushes selected.

5. Hit delete.
Kazaam.

It is what brought civilization throughout the Dark ages.
It's what the church used during the dark ages to control the population and generally steal their money. "Give priest money get to heaven" seemed to work well for the church's financial needs. If religion would've been replaced with a solid political system during the merdieval times, I believe the ages wouldn't have been so dark at all.

Religion didn't civilize society, political thinkers did.
