Craked me up.
Anyway, what's the issue? Why the US is in the middle east? It's evident that a major factor when deciding (ruling against the UN, mind you : ) was the huge oil supplies over there, selling contracts to huge companies (Halliburton anyone?), but even if it was for the ideals the US claimed it to be, are the Iraqis happier now? Will they be in the future? Getting a country like that stable and on its own feet again will take decades, and the newly formed government will unlikely be accepted by its fellow neighbours. If the US pulled out now, disasters would follow, probably extremist groups quickly racing for power. I'm not too sure what I think the US should or shouldn't do now, really.
As for Saddam being in possesion of or building WMDs, was there ever a concrete threat made against the US? 9/11 ocurred, in no way linked to Iraq except for possibly harbouring terrorists, what threats did Iraq make against the US? It's quite evident that governments in countries like North Korea pretty much hate everything westernized and, I'd say, are a much bigger threat to "world peace" than the Middle east ever was.
These are just my opinions, they're probably wrong.
