I used to draw manga or concept art style sketches constantly. Now I rarely find time.

Surface Tension was such a blast to play through. One thing I will say though is don't even bother with the RPG. Found it to be beyond useless.

In a recent telephone interview which may not have been that recent or may not have actually happened, Archie stated "TWHL can choke on a bag of dicks for all I care. Especially Kasperg. What a knobber."

We were then asked to leave the room that we weren't in when Olivia Wilde arrived with a tin of whipped cream.

Valve tends to stay keen about something for all of a day, then they become keen about another, more far fetched idea. Then people complain that Valve isn't as keen about their favourite series as they would like. Then Valve unveils something nobody could give a fuck about.

The only thing I disliked about Xen was the amount of jumping puzzles involved. Like I said, Blue Shift's Xen was perfect and showed a more natural element with rivers and such. The mod Point of View had a good take on Xen as well.

Indeed. The melee weapon winner is a little bland compared to its competitors, but Z3RO's entry wasn't too bad this time. Thing is, Livewire's was clearly the best this time and I'm surprised the votes aren't further apart.

Yes, but the problem is that he wants the black area to be opaque and the white to be transparent. Regardless of FX amount, there is no appropriate FX mode to do that.

in Adding Weapons to Goldsrc Post #309480
Do you mean adding models to replace existing weapons or are you wanting to add completely new weapons and weapon models?

For example if you wanted to replace the exiting weapon models with another then you simply have to add the new models to your mods "models" folder. They need to have the same filenames as the models you want to replace.

If you wanted to add a desert eagle as a separate "new" weapon then you would need to speak to a programmer.

Edit: Damn Ninjas

Indeed.

Archie's maps simply imply that the Black Mesa architects were a little adventurous with the budget.

Valve's maps imply that there is only one bathroom in Black Mesa, bridges don't need any form of support, light fittings can float and there should be plenty of areas to store crates with no logical means to move them afterwards.

If it's the official singleplayer levels then you might want to try reinstalling. Do you have any custom model packs or anything installed? Sometimes they can cause issues, though it hasn't happened to me for years now.
