Tons. Google for the process names.

Use Starter to stop stuff from running every time you start up. Don't worry, none of it is critical; if something stops working because of over-zealous disabling, you'll be able to get it going again.

Don't see anything suspicious there. A load of resource-wasting crap, but nothing malicious-looking. Get rid of any adware/spyware that Ad-Aware and Spybot pick up, run a virus scan or two, and be more careful in future if they do find anything.

If you really want to bring back the Task Manager's menu bar, just double-click on a blank expanse of grey. You're better off getting the supreme Process Explorer from those genii at Sysinternals, though. You can even have it replace Task Manager in the shortcuts in the Windows GUI.

If you're still having problems, post a list from Process Explorer and give us a few more details (when it started, etc.).

WinBSP doesn't work, and BSPtwoMap makes a horrible mess. You'll have to rebuild any but the most trivial of constructions.

To be fair regarding this incident, something very similar happened to me back in secondary school (a couple of years ago).

Anyway, the explanation's here now, there's nothing else to discuss on the matter. Complain about previous events all you wish, but here is not the place.

1. Give your threads descriptive titles, and don't caps-spam.
2. Use ZHLT to compile. It doesn't require any changes to your map.
3. Use Hammer. WorldCraft is years out of date.

Well, up to the last bit, you should have been directed to the SUBST part of the Steam tutorial (shame on you, guys :P).

After that though, I'm not quite sure. C:PROGRA~1VALVEH~1toolshlcsg.exe "c:program filesvalve hammer editormapstest" looks perfectly valid to me. Try replacing the short-name path to the CSG executable with "C:Program FilesValve Hammer Editortoolshlcsg.exe", or the opposite, replacing the Maps path with C:PROGRA~1VALVEH~1mapstest".

It is called test.rmf or .map, right?

As for the "xxxx solids not loaded", I'd say that file's probably gone. You using the .MAP or the .RMF? There are backups of each produced automatically, .MAX and .RMX respectively, which will be in the same directory.
