How do you get monsters to teleport into maps? Im trying to make a sequence where you walk into an area and a few alien slaves teleport in. I don't really know how to do that but i thought you guys could help :D

HLVIS does take a long time to run if its a large map anyway, specificly if you have A piece of crap computer such as mine.

i used the triagele method in the mod im makeing. It does cause the player to stop when you walk over bulges that have fine edges. and anyone who would like to help with the mod just tell me. i don't really need any help though but if you think you can help then feel free to offer your sevices.

no clue but i tried editing the lighting in my map when it started happening, i eventually checked the build programs and found that the VIS and RAD slots were occupied by the VIS program

what do you mean fullbright, if its that your lighting isn't applying to anything and its as if RAD.exe isn't doing anything then I had that problem too. If thats the case check the build programs diolog and make sure the RAD program is not VIS. somehow it changed HLRAD.exe to HLVIS.exe.
