The only limit that should be released is map size and number of objects/entities on the map. And a more efficient method to render all of it.

Limit per map is 1500+, but MAXIMUM visible at once is 512. The console will spam max entity limit.

Something like a copy of the Unreal Tournament head in one of the maps.

Technically, mice should use the default Microsoft mouse driver. I never saw 3rd party driver suppliers for mouse (Only in very old systems for laser mice and special multi button devices).

Check the driver in use. My computer:

A bit of googlin said that W8.1 has fixed an "mouse lag issue". So better update to 8.1 if you want that out.
So far i had no problems with any gold source games. Even gunman works.

Mouse drivers?

I am using X7 - 747H with out any windows acceleration settings modified. (Windows 8.1)
I use raw input in all source games and use sensitivity 4 in CS. Normal mouse operation with out any lag/what ever.
Even the old shitty ass logitec mouse performed excellently in TF2 and L4D2 on raw input settings.

That is simply how i communicate with people.
I do not mean harm to any one, nor do i want to be taken more seriously than any one else. I don't want people to take what i say for fact, but to think about it and make their own decision.
Different thing is when i am providing technical information.
Its plain logic that when some one says X good, Y shit, that he is talking crap.

But instead of telling him he is talking crap, try asking why.

I find explaining that to you a waste of time.
You can not see a joke, you don't want to see a joke, you want people to be serious and fact full, but when they are you don't understand it.

Like an old demented granny who constantly eats shit over things (Serbian phrase translated to English). Trying to explain basic human relations to you seems like a waste of time at the moment.

Simply put, there are different people in the world and not all will communicate in the same fashion as you. But at least one of them tries to understand you. You could try the same.

Note - I set the values high on purpose.

This works only under OpenGL rendering mode.
It should be possible in Half Life as well since it uses a simple sprite to achieve the effect.

I agree that software should be least as possible dependent on something not freely distributable. Not only software but multi platform usable hardware as well.
I never programmed passed console applications and some C in MS DOS so i cant comment much :)

Too bad jackhammer can't be run on windows 98, i usually use my Pentium 3 when i cant access my pc, but hammer texture browser locks up the system (ATi Rage).

Nothing extraordinary in the means of you said what you said every one has their opinion. You did say that compilator is bad because of net framework and you said it in a way some one might find offensive and think of you badly.
I think of that as : I called it shit not because i hate it but because i disagree with it.
How stable is jackhammer? Will it work on older versions of windows? (eg windows 98)

If it doesn't work after update, certain incompatibility exists.
Jeds HL Model Viewer is old software designed for a different operating system environment and different version of Net Framework.
Try running it using compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Possibly with func_detal/func_wall and stretched textures.

Welcome to TWHL and I hope you will enjoy it here :)
I also felt the same way when Chat Bear was closed, and to be honest its much more friendlier here.

I also still map for Gold Source, with interest on mapping for source, but i want to leave that for latter once my girlfriend gets a hang of it :)

I learned a lot from browsing here, and it improved my skills drastically, especially thanks to cool guys like Skals mon and other active members that share their knowledge.

I occasionally start a project or two, or add onto another one. But i have an tendency not to release anything unless it feels completed.
I recently started learning C my self on my own, got to pointers in this book i am learning from. Pretty fun stuff :)

So, welcome! And hope you stay and contribute in any way or form :D
