Make an armoury_entity with the weapon you want selected. Or, use a game_player_equip to set the same weapons for everyone.

I read somewhere that a difference such as 8-13 ms is hardly ever noticable - it's only higher amounts, around 15-25, that you should worry about.

I'm still running a trusty old DELL 19" CRT :). Works beautifully ;).

What does it matter who rates the map? Even if the person who commented on it has never touched hammer, that doesn't affect his ability to test a map and judge it based on his standards. There's no such thing as "common sense" when talking about what people think. Sure, a map might be technically perfect, but someone may still think it sucks.
