Wait. Are you after decals (blood splats on walls which are all the same from HL2 to Ep1 and Ep2) or the sprites? (Blood splatter and spray in the air from impact)
If its the sprites you want then you'll have to rip the sprites out of the ep2's GCF file. They may require some scripting / coding though because of the way they're generated. I recall hearing the effect was dynamic, but what that means I couldn't say. :rly:

Also, flashing the cash never works. You're more likely going to get someone who does a rush job in order to grab the money and run. If you gain peoples interest then you will more than likely be contacted by genuine individuals who actually WANT the project to work out.

My only hope is that the current economic climate dragged him under and that he is now either dead or homeless.

Once you've played it, wait and make your own better HL2 mod to have any authority to criticize.So by your reckoning, in order to review a map / mod you need to be an experienced level designer yourself? I'm sorry but your argument is lacking. Game reviews are posted in countless magazines and on websites by experienced journalists, but you think they have no right because they themselves have never made a videogame which is better? It doesn't take a genius to define what's good and what's bad and it is within anyones right as a human being to convey their opinion.

Yeah. Its not dying. People just go through phases with their browsing. Aside from the Map/Mod of the Month Reviews there is very little I can contribute to the site at the moment. I still can't map for GoldSource and I'm still shunning Source's prefabricated prop model bullshit.

I never understood it either. Its petty and ridiculous. If looking at 360 degree images of streets on the Internet is an invasion of privacy then surely by that reckoning, actually walking down a street and reading number plates and looking at people's faces is an arrestable offence.

Well I'm not big on DOD or mapping for Goldsource via steam. First off, did you type those directories in or did you actually used the "Browse" button because the whole set up looks a mess to me.
