I made a map in Team Fortress 2 , and from some reason while I add the
"inteligence" , ingame, it looks kinda odd , like it has some texture bug [though I dont need to texture it, because it comes already textured]

I added a SS so you can understand a little better:

Well actually, I see I didnt explaine my self that well...
The main problem is that players are able to use 2 guns.. like if they got an AK, in the next round, they are able to pick up an M4 too, and so having 2 primary weapons.

Now im not sure, but from what people told me , weapon strip will remove eveybody's weapons, and its not what i wish for.
I just wish to make sure no player can pick up more than 1 primary gun.

Also, when i play one round, and after it im using the command sv_restartround , I spawn from new, and I still got a weapon. thats aint right :

NOTICE :
[16:46:53] [Patriarch] its just, that a player can pick up more than 1 primary weapon, and its not supposed to be like that :o

Well, here it goes..
I've made some map, which there are weapons laying on ground. and the players may choose which weapon they like. [as the maps iceworld / poolday .. if you know them].

My problem starts after the first round. when the second round begins, everyplayer which didnt die last round, and still got a weapon, is able to pickup another weapon, and so having 2+ weapons in the same time.

I assume, the problem is I dont know how to trigger player_weaponstip on the start of everyround.
The only other trigger i used on the map so far is game player equip, which gives only armor and a knife. [so the player may chose their primary weapon as i explained before].

Please try to help me out, i'm working on that one for a while, and I cant make it work :| , thanks alot.

I'm using Hammer version 3.4 SDK Build : 2363

ZombieLoffe, could you explaine this a bit better :
"Then, make a normal brush covered in the CLIP texture and cover the grate with it - this texture makes the block invisible, shoot-throughable but not walk-throughable"

Didnt really understand what to do :

1) I want to give a block a special sound when its being stepped on. how can i do that?

2) I'm trying to create something like the WINDOW in inferno. now who ever doesnt know what im talking about: its an window which you can see through, like a vent in nuke, but there are 2 diffrences.
a] when you shot it , it wont brake
b] you can absolutly shot through it without its behaving like a real wall. its like it isnt ever there. [there arnt shooting holes on it too]

umm, i've got to say that in my maps which every player gets a weapon as soon as he spawns, it might be the same problem, the only diffrence is that it doesnt crash all the time. just randomaly [for example once after 30 minutes of playing and one after 2 minutes of playing].
Another thing i tried it to put the weapons on floor inplace of giving them on spawn, and so far i think its working O_o

All the entities im using for this map, is the game player spawn, and the weapon given on spawn. [took it from the tuts i found here]
beside that i didnt put anything else. could it be the reason for crashing?

Im playing on a server, just a normal and regular server.
Umm what else.. its getting stuck while playing, never on loading. there are no problems during compiling or in error checking

Anything else you need to know? :

Well what can I say? I guess the topic explaines it all. The problem is that some of the maps i've made are crashing in randomaly times.
I have no much details in the maps and also none complicated enetitys or buttons / trains etc.
There is only the "weapon given on player spawn" which i think might be the reasons for my maps to crash.
If you've got any other idea why it happens please let me know, and remember its randomaly, sometimes it happens after 50 minutes of playing and sometimes after 2 minutes.

*The maps are for CounterStrike 1.6 mod.

I've made a stupid glock map for HalfLife1 : Counter-Strike
Inside the map i've added a button which makes the water go up. now the only problem is, how do i decide how high will it go, and for how long will it stay in such a higheit? :
  • If some could make some tuts about func_button and some more enetitys it will be great :o
