ive been working on it a little, and i made patricks house alot more round. The sign of the krusty krab is wierd shaped but ill improve it.

Ip, i was thinking of addiing the jellyfish and i still have to look for a tutorial on how to do it.

As for the chum bucket, i really suck at drawing hands (the one at the top of the bhum bucket), i really dont know if i can do it on a computer, but ill try to make it work.

The sky thing i need to look up because im not good with custom things, my computer doesnt like it. but thanks for suggestions ill work on it

hey this problem is wierd but i turned hammer off and got on later and when i tried to run it, it had a different error, said "The command failed. Windows reported this error:"Thesystem file cannot be specified" do you wish to continue?" i have no clue what caused this error i didnt change anything in the compile since i last used it. heres a list of what i was doing:

-got ZHLT
ran it
-couldnt find zhlt.wad
-exited hammer
-got back on hammer (without changeing anything)
ran it
-new error

completely confused help me out!! :zonked:

PS:If you make a wall invisible, is it only invisible in the actual game or should it be invisible in hammer too? because i tried making a wall invisible in hammer and it didnt. "does it have to be a special texture??"

hey i got the ZHLT tools and the problems fixed with the .p0 files. But when i ran it it STILL couldnt find the zhlt.wad! :zonked:

For the cars, the snarkpit tutorial was awsome, but i want the cars to be driven by the players, not by a track. also, i added some very plain custom textures (like Red, Grey, Black) but after i added them it said the system couldnt be specified, so im just thinking of taking them off. but anyway it has the error again with the .p0 files. So ill just take them off and see how it does....

ok i ran it unsuccesfully (yet again) and in the script thing it said the map was in a different file that i said to look in. It also still cant find/open zhlt.wad (!!!) yet it find the others perfectly. ill just get you guys the script:

still cant find .p0 files (which i think is just the file the map is under) it says its in the zhlt folder, but i put it under czero maps and i didnt tell anything to goto zhlt folder. i tried restarting hammer but still same results. sorry for dumping this all down on you guys but im a big newbie :)

oh i get it in the paramemeters, while i was following the tutorial on how to compile something told me to put +map "mapname" but anyway, when i put -wadinclude zhlt on expert in the $csg_exe line, it still couldnt find it, but when i put it on normal it couldnt find filesystem dll to load. but im about to look for the .p0 files so bye

*i dont know how to load the map manually :

so for the $csg.wad what do i put after it? also im just doing a map that i can run round in now with some water : but for this one when i tried to run it it seemed to load alot then right about it was to start the game it went back to desktop. for some reason it went further on this map than the other map even though i didnt do anything.

also on the compile log the last line says two diferent maps. the one i tried last time and this one. dont know how that happened but i think this might help:

thanks man that helped alot it ran the game, but it ran DoD, not czero. so i found the one is czero and it ran the game. and here is some problems im having :

1. I found out it only runs in expert mode

2. It couldnt load.find the zhlt.wad (sky texture) so i removed it and it ran

3. when it ran it started loading and about halfway it just stops and returns to hammer.

need more help im clueless. :zonked:

PS: IP, your help really helped :)

Edit:this is really random but i didtn want to start another thread. how do you make doors that you can open and close? i cant find a tutorial on it.

hey i have problems with compiling I READ AND RE_READ THE TUTORIAL but when i try to run the game it says "could not find filesystem dll to load." when i following the configurations i tried to change everything to czero idk but it also said that everything was under the SIERRA folder (i have the anthology which IS NOT sierra) im totally confused

EDIT: this is just a map to see if i could make them move around and stuff very small. but back on subject it also said i needed cstrike.exe (or czero.exe? but i do not hav3e it i only have halflife.exe for some reason :(

thanks for all these tutorials but a reminder

*making this for CS, not source, not half-life, just counterstrike. i do not have half-life.

i still dont have a texture for the sky.
(zlht.wad doesnt have sky testures and i dont have halflife.wad. im also using cstrike.wad but that doesnt have sky either(my zhlt.wad only has three textures,hint, null and skip*which are all just the the first letter of hte word))

**havnt answered if i can make it for cs:cz
