My map are getting good but I still can't link them in any way!
Every time I try to build a level changer it f~@k's up in some way!
Is there a good example map (not the one attached to the tutorial) that shows this in some way. eg a completed map with two levels?

some sites are already mapping for HL2 they seem to have the game? Any similar encouters with time travellers nicking future games and parading them in frount of you!

I know it's just that when you get half-life you get World Craft (or i did)
on the cd Ive got Hammer but I thought WC would be more universaly known!

When I run a .bsp it says that my Verison number is somthing like 586734893 and should be 30 what does that mean and how can i stop it!

My first map was great too because i tryed out loads of cool stuff on it.
couldn't get my head around level changes though so it got real slooooooooooow. Looked to much like just another killing map though.

How do you set your chacter to shepard or a security guard im always freeman?

I followed skeeve's tutorial but it didn't work
It opened Halflife but just went to the main menu
I tryed to start a NEW GAME but that was just normal HL?

Back to the original question the is a version of World craft of the half-life generation cd. in basic but it a start

I have newly become obsesed with modifying halflife this site rocks!!
Changing level is beyond me though i downloaded the example map and that work on my machine but when i try to link MY maps together, my player get stuck in the wall or where the blue yellow and red lines on the 3d view meets. Why, Help Me Quickly PLEASE.
o and Do i need to upload my map to demonstrate?
