try download the hammer 3.5...and the fdg lastest version to see models in the 3d view window on hammer....and ask to seventh monkey about how to do!

see the model hepls so many to make rigth scales things!

i have so many 3d soft

i love softimage/xsi and maya.....3d max sucks!..(the pooor interfase)

but i recommend cinema 4d from maxon= simply, powerfull,stable,easy!....what do you opine?

i can do anything with sound jejejeje im just trying to avoid the dopler effect on half llife when you use the ambient_generic

note that the voice of HEV suite is not affected by doplerr effect!

i?ll try to convert the ship on an nly brush and then re-convert to a multibrush...
how?

first you will be teletranported to a copy of the ship...but this copy is only an unic brush....the func_train or plat will work over the ship...
an when the ships comes to destiny the teleport will return to the original ship model but in another map!......

i hope this works!

i have on my mod a vehicle...is a ship surrounded by a tunnel is a kinda of train...but its not a train is a ship.....well...the ship has a sliding door (func_door) a few sounds (ambient_generic) two buttons(func_button) and a glas window( func_wall= render fx texture/85 etc...translucent)...
so.....HOW THE HELL CAN I DO THAT SHIP MOVE ALL WITH ME INSIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!.....geeezz!...

im really nuts!...dont worry and thanks for every one that help me to solve this.....

(somebody knows how to paste pictures here?)

my mod called "mcyorian el ultimo disc-jockey" ("mcyorian the last dj" in english) uses custom sounds...( all voices are in spanish with real actors!) but you have to convert any wav file to a 8 bit mono wav 11.05khz

i know this is a dejavu question but i try the way explained on VERC collective to show 3d models on hammer 3dview....

but you know....my english level is still regular and i donk know if wast that i didnt understand well the instructions or ifi have to do something else.....please somebody can tellme step by step how to make models show on hammer?...

where should i paste the lines "@pointclass..." ???
do i have to write something else?

Go to the textures panel in Hammer. Look at the materials tab. Hit "Add", and then browse for Half-Life2/HL2/Materials - and add that entire folder.
mmmmmmm the panel doesnt load the folder.....it loads the folders inside materials but one by one......aaarrrrgh!.....

i dont have any trouble with valve?s people they are great!...but i thing that you cannot "stop the sun with only a hand"....every day more people wants to talk about the HL2...this is just the destination of all this next generation mappers!.....go ahead!...we love half life 1...and we?ll love the half life 2 too!

ok ..the sound is my area....when you use an ambient_generic the sound will pan around your ears if you change your point of view....
and thats not cool...the idea is the sound play everywhere without the "pseudo-stereo" efect....
i mean a gratt sound...no dopler, no panning..etc...is that possible to do?...thats the real question.....

a really good sound on folder ( not on cd ) with a constant presence, an ratio while we are playing!......

with the ambient_generic the sound variates depends of your position...

no they are just on a room...under a plataform with sientist that have scripted sequences....they just pondering a machine...

on hammer the boxes look well on the right place but when map loads....the boxes are in sky one of them are flying...the other one is just placed on the flloor of the sky....

on my map i have various crates an wood boxes but ther are two little boxes or crates thats look fine in hammer but when i compile the map...the crates fly away down ...i use "noclip" then i found them the firs just on the middle of the sky like 10M under the map an the second box is just on the sky floor .....some sugestions????

(sorry for my englis)
