im having a bordom fit here cause everytime i try to play team fortress or opposing forces (well i think its games based on the old engine that go wrong) it just closes after x amount of time in the game (x=not too long), i have no idea whats going on, but the strange thing is that its happened before and after formatting, im thinking its probably a connection problem on that basis, but the game actually connects and plays for a short time and closes mega fast at random times.

Anyone got any ideas

Give us a list of your hardwares and make. It sounds like a hardware issue.

Having recently delt with a hardware snafu myself, I might be able to offer some tips.

Define closing, the binary dies or you get disconnected from the server?

Yep its only when playing multiplayer, the binary game closes down in a flash and goes back to the team forces menu screen :zonked:

would anyone think it may be a problem with my sapphire 9200 atlantis 256mb, or maybe something to do with port forwading and dmz?

Dude, why do you keep calling it the "binary game"? :|

Updated all your motherboard, graphics, and sound drivers?
