My roommate just bought HL2 - and I am P****D off about it! Cuz now I cant even play CS her and her clan.
It's bad enough I drove her to the store to get it, it's even worse that now *I* have to try to get the money together to get it myself!

Actually the computer is in HER room... BUT!!!
I played on her steam acount last night and whew - I got $50 coming to me for that ebay auction, and I get one more paycheck this coming week from my old job... trust me dudes... HL2 is soon to be mine

Meh, you should get a boxed copy. Then you can install it on machines with dialup/slow DSL with minimum waiting time, although it can take ages to validate, so if you have fast net, it's quicker to download.

I hate the way Steam sneakily downloads updates without at least informing you... I know that auto-updating is good, but come on Steam, at least say what you are doing!
It's a bit of an internet hog too, lowering my connection speed everytime it's doing something without me knowing...

Watch out for those updates. If you don't want a game to update, right click the game, go to Properties (in Steam) and select "Do not automatically update this game". That, or be patient.
