iam making a map called minas tirith based upon the battle form lord of the rings return of the kings. now i got this prob i have about 100 grunts on the fort where you are 2. i want the grunts to shoot on aliens and not at you. cause there will be 2 version, 1 where yo uwalk the walls like gandalf and one is a movie version. so there will be lot of gargs storming the fort and some cannnons on the fort.

if you got any sugestions you can put it in here

There should be a toggle to turn monster's friendlyness on or off. Off means they shoot you, on they don't, and either way, they should shoot at the Aliens if they're in range.

are you sure that this is within the limits of half-life's somewhat elderley capabilities???

i tryed pre disaster and prisinor bt they dont bother attacking the aliens

hmm k canceld, il have t wait to hl2 cause the frames are gettign lower then 6fps if there are 100-150 entinity's batteling

yeah but the fps are gettign way to high like 5fps on some moments

Why not do what everyone else is doing....
Make HUGE maps that extend past the Grid. Add as many monsters as you can so that the epoly goes into 6 figures,
then release the rmf saying
"But it will be alright because the HL2 engine can cope with it"

I am curently making a MOD for HL and am worried about HL2. Whats gona happen? Will all my work be wasted. Will this site support HL and HL2 in a peacful environment? Is HL2 made off of HL?

i tried a 100barneys versus 300 zombies battle. The barneys actually win, crappy zombies. But hey the fps where like 100 all the time.

I would be happy if Pepper could respect my av and change to something less copied. Besides I haven't posted anything on this topic before but it's about time I do.
