K, I have given it loads of thought, and I am not going to do Rise Of the Dead Anymore. But. I am starting on a orginal idea for a mod (I think it is atleast).
Here is the Story:

Your name is Commander Chang Lee, a solider in the Chinese Army. The Americans have built a weapon that would surely destroy most of China. Undercover opertives have infortrated The American bases and found out some very important infomation about the bomb. The americans are planning to drop the bomb on a city called Hiroshima. You mission is to infortrate the American base, find the bomb and planet explosives on it and return to the Rally point 20 miles away north.

K, what do you think? Website is underway, I have started on the maps already. But. I cannot do this all myself. So, these are the positions I need filling.

Coder (1)
Moderler (2 or more)
Weapons Skinner (1)
Concept Artist (1)
Story leader (1 and me)

Voice Artists (not sure howmany)
Beta Testers (4, Trapt, if you want, you can have do this aswell.)

So, Tell me what you think!

I know. This is a game set near the end of World War 2, after the Germans surrended, Japan were still fighting, loosing, but fighting. There desprate attempts to destroy us were not enough, they tried suacide planes, that crash and that kind of stuff.

But what do you think? And will anyone help? The maps so far are okay, I mean, 1 map :(.

K, Hunter, you are on the team. Can you send me a sample of your voice? Dont put it on Rabid Share, it never works for me :(

Concept art is for the Moderlers and model skinners. We are having new weapons, WW2 style :)

Well im making concpts for S.W.A.T. Echo 12 right now... I'm pretty busy, but I think that I could make some concepts, when ill have time. :)

No offense, but half of these silly little TWHL mods never materialize. I've started 2 mods on the forum. 1 died in development, and another died in planning. And another one started by Vassy/Seventh/XargoL/Me died in development.

You better start working on a mod and finish it for you'll always have better ideas and if every time you get a better idea then your last one and stop working on your last idea you wont be able to finish any mod at all! :nervous: So even if you come up with a better idea continue working on this mod. :glad:

Elon: I know what you are getting at Elon but Rise OF the Dead story was totally crap, man, you should of seen the abuse on Mod Data Base (really).

So, now we have a few postions filled, we really need Mappers, Coders and moderler and texturer. My job is:

Concept art would be like, errr... A 3d drawing of for example, a weapon out of DoD. Dont know any names. I will try to find some weapons for the concept artist

It's usually a prerequisite to post media of some sort. Enough mods have it and will attract people because they have work shown...

K guys, right, being serious here. I really want to make this work so, we need mappers, moderlers, weapons skinner, concept art and coders.

Enough with the beta testing, I cannot do this on my own.

I will post some work later today. If you want to become a mapper just send me some pictures of recent work.

No, DOD is multiplayer enough.

Yes, but Rise Of the Dead was, come on, crap! No-one seemed to like it on the Mod Data Base and There are SO MANY zombie mods out there, I mean, there is one called Dawn Of the Dead? Same thing. I wanted to do something orginal.

I do the TWHL swear that I will devote most of my time to this mod!

I can map pretty well. But I cant code or do all that other stuff. Anyway, the main point of this thread was to get people to help. So can anyone else... :|

Note : I came here in early 2004, as a noobtard mapper for half-life.
I didn't get any better since. I only visited this site as a guest.
I stopped mapping.
Back in start 2005 I had a better computer and I could map for hl2.
So I registered and here I am today. Still a noobtard mapper but proud!

So yes I can map for source.

But i'm currently working for a upcoming multiplayer mod.
I didn't maked much for it though....
