ok well i have a very noobish question that i have to ask because i cant really figure it out for myself for some reason :(
ok well how do you use the clip tool without making the clip that you clip not disapper?

huh i dont get ya i do press enter but it still gets rid of the clip

Click on the clip tool button again after setting the clip marks. The white part is the part that will remain, the red stuff will be cut.

if its white on both sides of the line, then it will only cut, but won't remove. red is removed otherwise

Yeah, it's Shift+X, not Shift+F. But speaking of clipping, do you guys know if clipping too much ups the r_speeds? I'm kinda paranoid about that.

Heh. The only time I use clipping is to cut holes in walls. Other than that, I use VM to shape solids. Haven't had a problem yet.
