I didn't see anything like this elswhere, so if it's already been posed, sorry.
My computer was recently upgraded to Windows XP and i immediately installed Half Life in order to make maps. At first, Half life wouldn't run, so I had to find a patch for it. I used the Half-Life 1.1.1.0 Client (Full Client). After that, the game run, so I installed hammer, V 3.4 (I believe that was it, I may have been 3.5)
Anyway, i made a box with the defaul 8 ball texture, and a white light. I lsaved appropriatly and ran my map via F9. When my map loaded, the wall testure was dyed completely the color of my light. I ran it again with various lights, and every time the textures were dyed the color of the light. Whats wrong and is there any way to fix it?
