Looks very bland and empty. More props and detail. Lighting could do with a do-over too - more point lighting!

Yeah put a few barrels and dirt decals in the second picture.
Not bad, I like the plain ness of it but add a few props.

Well it looks very empty and bland, try to map somthing with "life" in it, not just large square rooms. Lighting looks ok, especially for a zombie map, nice and dark.

The archatexture needs work though, add more details, like (as said) barrels, boxes - anything. Just dont have square dark rooms full of zombies. ;)

Good luck with this, bout time some HL2 SP turned up.

haha, I get the idea ;)

These are work in progress mind you, there will be more props in the finished version, Ive tried to keep the rooms as un-square as possible, what do you mean by Point-Lighting Zombie?

Pretty empty, but reasonably nice.

ok, added some barrels, decals, tables, canisters(need to make em flamable yet) and some saw blades, and added an elevator to the end of the second pic, need to do the up-part of the building

My elevator shaft is pretty bland, how could I improve it? Its jsut a metal shaft with some lights on the side...

Cut bits out of the walls all the way down, y'know, have pipes and indents and stuff.

What'd be really cool would be seeing the lift counter-weight going up, connected with ropes.

I think it looks quite realistic in a way. Real buildings often don't have super advanced architecture.

thanks? :P

Great Idea seventh, I already added some bars going up the side, like supports : |X|

Ill try to add the counter-weight, the problem Im having at the moment is once you get to the top, you step out and all the lighting is screwy :-

Working on it now though...

Im trying to have a skylight in the top of the roof, but the sky doesnt light the room up, I have the light_env up and the brightness set to 900 in it but still its pretty dark, ill post more once I find the problem

yeah, still having problems with the light, heres what it looks like when you get to the top and your inside the elevator:

and here is what it looks like when you step outside of the elevator

also, when you walk around the walls seem to pulse, the light reflecting off them is dark, then gets lighter, peaks, and goes dark again, only as you walk around not when you stand still

-EDIT--

Found the problem and its fixed, used the wrong texture, theres two textures with the same look but different name, just tried the other one and it works
