Hmm, that looks pretty good. Though it woulda been nice if the music hadn't started while Barney was speaking, as I could barely hear him. :)

The mapping stopped for a while when i was waiting for muzz to finish the new enemy and new friend, but definately not dead.

no, but its things like this have inspired me. I never knew of such a place that was so purely Gyradell-like.

These images are somewhere in the Borderlands of Germany. I stumbled across them while researching on the internet. Lucky Find!

Edit: Also, they give a much better idea for textures and how the plants really are on the machinery. There are so many aspects I have overlooked in the past.

god damnit!

I was desperately trying to keep it a secret that this is almost complete (8 out of 12 maps playable) but i'm afraid the huge numbers of errors i'm getting, this probably wont see the light of day 'till 2007.

Well, muzz took a look at it and has decided that it can't possibly be crashing, due to the lack of errors. So it's not in fact crashing, but actually mentally distorting your brain to make you think it's crashing.

In other words, there is no explanation for the crashes.

No...I demand it! It can get annoying but not as annoying as saving in front of a mine so everytime you die you run into it and that damn voice actor goes "Oh crap!" over and over...ARGH.

The trailer and other stuff looks really good.But what is so interesting about that hev_scientist model.Its the same as half-life or other half-life mods to protect themselves from hazardous(btw its not hazerdous)enviroments.So stop posting some rendered-reskinned models or a video which includes barney shooting every1.And post some screenshots of the maps/gameplay.

Ok 1. He posted that Barney video because it was showing the new code which rocks by the way.

2. New skins are interesting to see, he posts media to receive our feedback 'on' it and to use it as a sort of boost to keep going.

So by your comment you have brought him down a notch maybe...Perhaps raised his ego to work harder...

1.I know that Muzz is a proud coder but I always find these videos kinda useless.It kinda brakes the surprise.
2.The first ones were interesting.But if you keep encouraging him to post more rendered-reskinned models.Thats your opinion.So respect my as well.

Sajo, the video was to show off muzz's skill and to let people know what was coming in the mod...

The pics of the re-skinned models are there to introduce the new characters.. Muzz is also continually updating my Gyradell FGD with new monsters at my request, and I think it's perfectly reasonable to pimp his work..

  • It has its own code (based of that is)
  • It has its own fgd entry and thus its own entity.

1-Habboi, go jump off from a cliff.
Tosse and Elon knew what I was talking about.
A New Monster- shiny-newly modelled etc- with new abilities not just shooting&reloading or with a different code with the same abilities.That doesnt really count as a new monster Muzz.It may be technically but you cant fool people that it is a new mons :P What I'm REALLY trying to say is (I know that barney is hostile what I'm trying to say is barney is just still a shooting&reloading guy if it had like telekinetic powers it would count as a new monster IMO)

p.s:your reloading barney code is cool btw.It makes it x2 realistic.

You can always consider a new ent and code as a new monster, no matter the model/looks, Saco. I could give the monster_hgrunt a barney model, and it'd still be a hgrunt.

Even if the monster wasn't a whole new one (it is a new one) - the polite thing to do would be shutting the fuck up, rather than making a whole goddamn secene, because of nothing. :
