A nice "HDR" effect and big terrains :D
You can't enter the houses, but I'm planning for teleports in the doors, something more sophisticated than this, obvious. I'm working too on something more, the textures detail, better roads, and cliffs (on the sea, you can't see from these photos.)
That's it for now:D

It looks HUGEEEEE!!!!!!... Good map!!!... I don't understand what the HDR FUCK you're talking about... (I tought it is for Half-Life... and Half-Life don't have any fucking hdr effect!!!).

This is just an Spirte Overley effect, like in de_survivor. But more easy to see :D

nice lighting, slighly blocky architexture.

looks like it might be impressive when its done

Looking good so far, though the lightning seems to be over saturated, you should tone it down a bit.

Someone please inform of this sprite-based HDR effect. :)

Is it actually that big or is it a mini island? You don't seem to have any screenshots from the ground.

Would you kiss your mother with that mouth, Ag3nt-X?

Map looks pretty blocky, to be honest. Are you sure these open areas are the way to go?

It must be big, since there's no way the r_speeds could be as high as they are with a mini city. Also note the extra detailed shadows, which couldn't be done on a miniature scale.

The office buildings look out of place. But other than that, cool.

HDR looks cool.

But yah, blocky buildings and odd office buildings = no no.

Looks rather cool, but it's still a work in progress, so i'm waiting for the end result before I take my conclusions. ;)

Ok, this map were designed to be simple, very simple. So, the final product will be similar to the first screen's. I'm Working on the Gameplay, and i've played it with some friends.

Being able to battle in such a huge outdoor area like that would be cool, especially considering it's Half-Life. The only problem I can see with it, as far as gameplay goes, is that there's not much cover. If you were at the top of the map, you'd pretty much have a clear shot at anybody.

Still, it looks really fun. It may be rather blocky, but in some instances that's okay. At least you're not trying to go all out with the graphics at the same time, and you're keeping r_speeds in mind.

Edit: I really wished you could have downsized those pictures. 640x480 seems plenty big for forums. If you needed any bigger, you could have used thumbnails.
