Hello,
Im the soul keeper and I have a problem. Ive been using hammer for a while and Ive found this forum recently so I havent seen all the tutorials yet. Well my problem start when I play again the USS dark star
and I realise that the size of the ship of the begining scene, was far more big than the custom size that hammer give me to use.
So the cuestion is: How can I do the size of my map biger ???

Forgive me if this has already been discussed in another post or if it is incorrect. Thanks to all of you.

The soul keeper

You can't, unless you make func_doors that expand outward when the map starts, but then you couldn't put anything on them, so it's kinda pointless.

How exactly did you measure the size of the ship exterior?
Did you decompile the map and it didn't fit into Hammer?
Perhaps you mean that the range of visibility was larger than in other maps. This is changed in the "max viewable distance" property in the "map properties" toolbar in Hammer.

@Orph: how about Persian Letters? ;)

@The_soul_keeper: I'm not sure what you're actually looking for. Does the map not fit in the grid in Hammer, or do parts of the map disappear in-game, beyond a certain distance?

I think he posted a wireframe 2D view some time ago. It's that big. If I remember correctly, of course. ;)
