In the source SDK hammer program, what exactly does the "sew" button under the displacements tab in the texture editor do? I've read about it on wiki but I still don't understand...can anyone simplify for me? Thanks :glad:.

I just tried to use the sew tool in hammer, now i did it this way. I selected both of the objects, went into displacement mode, and clicked on the sew button. Is that what you did?

It should treat contiguous displacement surfaces as just one surface, so that the vertices that make up the limit lines between those surfaces are treated as the same thing.
