I need some help with displacements. I am working on displacements right now. I am using the Displacements- Part One tutorial. I created the block and covered five of the sides with nodraw and left the top with a blend texture. Then I created the displacement.

The problem is that my five sides covered with nodraw still show up. What am I doing wrong?

Did you select the face with the blend texture before creating the displacement?

If you want to make displacement out of just one side, you select that side, and no other.
You probably selected the nodraw-sides aswell.

To select a single face you simply select the texture-applying tool and click on the face wich you want to select, and then create the displacement.
To select more than one face, press and hold CTRL.
