right, so, ive downloaded either a virus or sme adware somewhere along the way. now for my homepage all i can get is http://nkvd.us/1526/ or else http://www.best-search.info/1526/ and there is a "Free mature porn" link in my favorites. i tried both AdAware and Spybot to get rid of them, but to no avail. anyone got any suggestions?

when i get run spybot i always get these problems:

so i see that the problem is that something is changing the registry, now i just need to find out what...

Look at that key, mebbe?

Hmm...I had some adware once called easywww.exe, and ad-aware didn't detect it. Do a search on your computer for that, because it interferes with your homepage. Delete everything with easywww in its name.

i had easywww before, but i got rid of it.

i dunno how to look at that key.

Use it like explorer - expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SOFTWARE, etc.
