I recently downloaded a bot mod called Phineas Bot. As soon as it gets to the part where it actually has to load (console), it says a whole heap of stuff, something like: "0 0000 svc_bad" or something like that. Why?

Also, it says that the game DLL is outdated, but I just got it, like, a couple of hours ago.

I sounds like a file is unrecognised.
Phineas bot is pretty old (and crap) and it most likely doesn't work on HL v1.1.1.0 or v1.1.2.0

Use the Edit button, Darkie.
Try Rhobot. Its old, but at least this one still works with Won HL v1.1.1.0. Try that.

But I've used Phineas Bot plenty of times before. Why dosn't it work now? (If there is an edit button, it mustn't be obvious otherwise I would have used it by now?)

Yeah. That doesn't work in a place like TWHL. Insted of helping him get an answer we are turning this into a "Bad newbie, don't double post - tread"!

Make sure you have this version installed: http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/rhobot/rhobot20.exe

But I should try that... Rhobot first... just to see...
And I found the edit button (heh heh... sigh)...
