I say we keep it August-only. As Hunter said, there's a lot of decent maps posted in Aug. We can always have something like map of the year or even all-time best map by new year.

Oops! I didn't actually play any maps from august. Most were CS maps which I don't play since my CS exe got "modified" and now it won't run but I can't be bothered setting it up again. But I will vote for de_mon 'cause the screenshots looked good.

De_mon was great, but not that great. Macrocampus was a much more impressive map, so I was expecting a little more out of de_mon.

Actually, you can vote for any map posted at the right time. Feel free to do so for Fathom, cause technically, that wouldn't be breaking the rules. 
Anyways - caerla was pure win for a fy_ map, though the estate/cobble style wasn't anything new, so no.
Fathom was a pwn mod, it would definitely have gotten my vote if it wasn't for de_mon. That map blew me away. It was like the classic beta CS maps (specifically cs_docks) + steroids on crack. It wasn't perfect, but the obiviously huge effort put into it really makes it atleast worth a vote in my book.

I could fix up alpestrine like I want to and resubmit it... it would qualify for september, but I'm not going to do it because, to me, the project is done.
I like how mod stuff can enter as well. Foresay I can enter something from 6D. So working on a mod doesn't count me out of the competition.
I like the rules here, makes me want to do something pretty.

Well, I am gonna say nobody is allowed to vote for Fathom 2.4 because I don't want it to win. It doesn't deserve to because it already won in the comp. Two awards for one map is not necessary. So PLEASE don't vote for it.
