For those of you who go to college or work, post a picture of your desk or workspace in the dorm or in your office.

Here's mine:

Did you clean up your desk just to show it off? I see there's no papers in your little tray there :)

Good observation. Usually when I go to see a doctor, the desk is is full of paper crap.

Maybe Satch is just efficient.

...and polite.

.....and has a plan to kill everyone he meets.

Anywho, my camera will be going to work with me tomorrow.

But he'd be a medic, not a sniper...
I'd post a pic of mine, but I have no camera, and I have four different desks throughout the day.

No excuse. Draw them.

My desk is always neat (and paperless), either at home or at work.

All my papers are filed neatly into various cabinets labeled to indicate the content of the folders.

I can say that I have the neatest desk of the entire medical center. . . not that I want to brag or anything. ;P

This is mine. Nothing special... at all.
I really need a new case, though.

I have to push my keyboard forward to make room for papers and stuff.

You work or study from home World Crafter? Or do you not get a desk at wherever you are educated? :(

It's my dorm workspace.

Not get a desk at where I'm educated? What do you think is taking up half that picture?
Posted 15 years ago2009-09-01 19:20:23 UTC Post #272860
Oh, dorms. Gotcha.

I don't get all this education lark.

Why don't you put your computer on the floor to save desk space?

He has a point there. It does save a lot of space, and you could put a set of shelves there too!

The computer is on the left side, if he moves the computer on the floor, that space would be awkward to reach, and utilize.

That's assuming WC is right handed.
Posted 15 years ago2009-09-01 20:57:58 UTC Post #272865
I'd have no problem with it them! XD
I dunno about WC, though.

Just moving the box to the left of the desk will improve the distribution of free space. Assuming of course the cables are long enough.

This is my book shelf next to my desk. It's mildly amusing (note the Halo lithograph and figurines).

I like it where it is-- it makes a nice wall so people can't look at me from the doorway. I'm in no shortage of space, even with this monstrosity of a case. Like I said, I move my keyboard forward to do paper work. That or I move out into the common room.

I live in a suite with 3 other people; 2 people per bedroom and a common room with a coffee table and couch (and whatever else the residents decide to bring).
Edit: Oh I see the photo is somewhat misleading. I have about 10 inches of nothingness between my keyboard and monitor.

Satchmo, it took me like 30 seconds to realize that picture is rotated 90 degree.

No frame, made too many squeeks if ya know what I mean! ;) Im actually about to build one along with a desk. I want to see yours grim! ! ! I plan on starting a forum to post a video of your entire room like a miniature cribs but I have to clean it first well and build/buy furniture. And finish my teapot im making... I like your setup wc, it looks clean and sheak but a little cluttered, i'd move that comp to the floor like mine.

Otherwise, I guess I would have posted my desk by now, except I don't think it fits the criteria.
