Hai Guys! Uhm... I'm new to the forums and I came straight from a Google search page and didn't bother to look at the tutorials or existing forums for solutions, so here's my problem thus far.

I'm having a terrible issue with diffuse and chunky lighting. I have managed to have smooth lighting in the past, but when I really need it, its not happening.

I've checked to make sure the texture coordinates were straight, that's the first thing I did. I've tried changing the chop amount, bounces, dynamic bounces on/off, even tried a newer and previous versions of ZHLT. Same result on everything!

Truly baffled. Halp?

Tried the extra-flag on rad?

Perhaps ugh light entities give a better result? I'm assuming you're using texture lighting.

Or, try making the lamps func_walls.

Yes.

Actually I noticed it in these screenshots too.

:/

EDIT: Its a TWHL3 map. I'd add a cement texture to it only if it didn't harm the look of things too much.

Hasn't it always been like this? None of my maps have had better lighting than this.

-extra should make it look better, but im not sure if the texture scale has an effect as well. Keep it at 1.00, its the default value.

Well that was fun. Never fixed the problem but released the map anyway.
