How do I take screenshots in GTA IV on the PC?

I Googled and searched many sites, but could not find the answer.

Can I do it without FRAPS?

Load it with Steam Overlay (even if you didn't buy it on Steam) and F12 (binding configurable in Steam settings) will save the screenshot to your Steam folder and will give you the option to upload it to the Steam Cloud when you quit the game.

It worked beautifully, and Steam makes it so simple.

Apparently, this screenshot feature is very new to Steam (implemented just a few weeks ago).
