Hi, im sort of new to this mapping stuff, and i have a decal that says "Haxor" and i want to place it somewhere, and when i do its backwards, i was just wondering how i could flip it around. i searched the forums and the only thing i found was how to flip a texture, but i cant figure out how to do it with decals

D3D doesnt allow decals (mine didnt, anyhow), try running OpenGL or SoftWare.

Also, to 'flip' a decal, you have to manipulate the face it is on.
Say you have some blood on a wall, and you want it rotated/the other way - then make the face it's on -1 on the X axis - this will mirror it.
The change wont be seen in-hammer, but ingame it works.

if you get problems with decals try changing the gl_polyoffset value to something like 0.5 or 1
Or you can read the hl readme if i'm wrong..

More than likely MissioN finished reading the tutorial and figured out why his decals were disappearing in-game. Since that problem was covered in the awesome decal tutorial that TWHL has. ;)
