light appearence problem

Once i attach a switch to my lights they no longer flicker like i have set for them to do in the appearence properties. If i get rid of the switch and their names then they filcker like they are suppose to. Anyone no how i can fix it so when the switch turns on the light they flicker?

It's because they are supposed to flicker when you tick the switch.

This is a common problem. Once you name the light, the HL engine ignores the appearance property. One way to solve the problem is to use a multimanager to turn the light on and off to give the effect you are looking for.
