Pretty much always on, although I'm not sure it can be on 24/7 as I need to be able to switch off the comp and stuff. I'm not sure whether a ded server runs during standby...

tell me when it's up. It is a good idea (but only if it's running often or 24/7) Can you tell me the map list? All maps will be custom?

Theres nothing wrong with taking it in turns to host it. Say I'm busy, someone else can host it, and vise versa.

Its not exactly 24/7 - and I would want my eyes to bleed now would I?

Dude Jazel, dont turn off your computer! There is no point! Mine is always on, and it runs perfectly... It does not make even 5 dollars difference in your electricty bill! There is absolutly no reason to do that!!!

I have my PC on c.15hrs/day. I'd have it on constantly but my parents wouldn't let me.

to get lower pings, depending on wat windows u use, turn off system restor, and in your server.cfg put this in if u don't have it ofcoarse:

sv_voicecodec voice_speex
sv_voicequality 3 (can be 2 if u want)
sv_maxrate "5000"
sv_minrate "0"
sv_maxupdaterate 14 (this seams pretty low but trust me, it helps)
