What do you think of them both?
I like them both because one is very funny and surreal, where as the other projects a state of anarchy.

lucky bastard. we have to read "refugee boy". some kid comes from ethiopia on holiday with his dad, and his dad leaves him there in a hotel. and this book is supposed to make a political statement!

My favourite book of all time has to be....

'Strange Thoughts'

Hitch-hiker is good, but the books gradually get boring:

Hitch-hiker: Great
Restaurant at the end of the universe: OK
Life, the universe, and everything: Dull (I gave up on it)
The others: Not read

Dunno what my favourite book is. I like "Unscathed" by Major Phil Ashby, and ATM I'm reading "Bravo Two Zero" by Andy McNab (I like recent military history), but I also liked "Boy" by Roald Dahl (Going to read "Going Solo" after I finish BTZ).

All of the books are great, though I do agree the first 3 are the best.
