I have read that there is a limit to how many diffrent textures can be in one map.But what is the limit? :)

8 wads in hammer should be max. Haven't heard of any max texture usage.

Of course there's a limit, ZL. It's pretty high though, unless you have very little available texture memory. Try Tommy14, killer, I think it's detailed there.

i use a max of 5 by default, or my map doesnt want to load wad files,

er, if you have so many homemade or found wads, just put them together in wally. And/or remove textures you arent using to reduce the size.

That is from my compile log.
So
max textures=4.00 mb = How many textures?
Also how do I change it?

Unless you specify otherwise. You could set the allocated texture memory to 64MB or so if you wanted, but that would of course lose you any prospective players with poor graphics cards.
