Three favorite places (all of them in HL2) ravenholm, outside nova prospekt (when you and the antlions are killing combine with techno in the backround), and the crane in highway 17.

The HL2 train ride was pretty cool. Synths!

I reckon they spent too much time on the engine and too little on the game itself. Maybe HL?'ll be more impressive if they're, as I've heard, gunna re-use Source.
