I hope I didn't, because i'd like to preoccupy the use of the monster_tentacle for me. Plus: I need to change the model.

Would you agree with that? If not, I'll find another solution.

Also I'll probably need to start a new BSP, since I also use a custom sky. I could make it without the sky, but it would lower the ingame performance.

To what CP said: I do support his oppinion. We should work together, up to certain level. Nothing too big, no master-plan or anything like that. But we should collaborate more than on TWHLmix1. Talk to the people that build the parts before/after yours, maybe you can make the transition less obvious that way. Also a few 'quests', or task for the player, rather then just shooting might be good.

I have more to say, but I have very little time at the moment.

Hazardous: I think its fine to use models - if they are needed.

[Please tell me if i went too far with the following:]

I think that we should have 4 BSPs (~3people per BSP)

That way, each mapper can use up more TextureMemory etc.

With 3 People Per map, we can improve on a lot more. And there's more room for creativity. The first BSP already has a Xen sky, that may limit someone from doing a desert base, or a city.

Vassy and Zombieloffe seemed ok with a xen sky, and i was too - so after i finish my map - we could start a new one - i'm sure Jahzel or Rabid Monkey won't mind setting up a levelchange after my turn?

Levelchanges should not be avoided. HL is built to have small maps.

I like the 3 people for map thing.

I will personally add a short ending at the very end, plus short credits

There are 12 mappers besides me, so I'll just make a map for my suprize ending, making us at 5 BSPs in total.

...I hope so. Infact, I am trying to map. I have a general inability to concentrate on one thing for more than 10 seconds before I get distracted and I have no motivation - hence my decline in academic performance. Mapping is something I enjoy, but even things I enjoy doing can seem like huge impossible tasks.

But never-the-less, I will try to be on time and provide you with something interesting.

Looks great Vassy.

I like the start, though we might want to add in some scientists talking instead of messages. I'll handle that stuff at the end when I polish it up a little. Don't worry, I will not change any brushwork, just some monster and weapon placements plus maybe adding some voice sounds in.

Hmm. OK. And you can change whatever you want. Anyone is permitted to, as long as you get Bratty's permission. I'm not going to have anything to do with it now...I suppose I'll beta test the mod as well, but I don't care what you do to my map. If you want, improve the disaster sequence, and please don't mess up my DEFCON meter.

IF its gonna be a mini mod:

-We should be able to make bigger levels.
-everyone shouldnt have to add on the the other maps unless its tiny. Everyone should have their own BSP file.

Just some ideas. :)

-A minimod does not have to be very long. Quality and Variety are what we are aiming for here.

-If we have people add onto someone else's BSP, we will:
a. Limit someone from dominating the project
b. wouldn't have a million BSPs flying around
c. People would actually add onto the theme of someones map, rather than change the theme suddenly
d. Help make it more of a mix and less of the generic MOD

This is what I believe.

Any other suggestions about the size, although it would be hard to change now since we have already started. Lets try and stick to what we have going now rather than change in the middle. That is one of the reasons TWHLmix1 didn't meet the criteria that we aimed for, and why it took over a year to do. Lets have this run smoothly, as it has been so far, besides Vassy's simple e-mail problem ;)
